Best way to tell them apart is that the central two headlights on the 1100S were slightly smaller than the standard 1100 lights, having been taken off the Renault 8S (which the 1100S is basically a copy of). A modified Dacia 1100 would in 99 % of cases just use other 1100 headlamps. Sadly this picture isn't anywhere near clear enough to distinguish between the two.
