A classic rounded-line 1985-1988 Chevrolet Suburban Silverado Note the Suburban’s GM Corporate live front axle with offset front differential It has part-time shift-on-the-move four-wheel drive, synchronized two-speed dual range New Process 208 transfer case and permanent 50/50 torque distribution. Likely has the Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission and may have the locking rear differential. Note the under hood sound deadening, engine compartment acoustic sound deadening was performed on Silverado top-of-the-line luxury equipped rounded-lines to hush-up so called engine noise. Though the V8 engines produced a healthy V8 symphony, it’s odd that anyone would want to hush them up. Additional acoustic sound deadening was used throughout the cabin as well. |

I assume its there among the group of caravans as its towing one of them? If so, it may have been imported with the heavy-duty towing package. Towing features included a heavy-duty weight distribution trailer hitch platform, trailer electrics connector, and heavy-duty transmission cooler to help keep the Turbo Hydra-Matic cool & quiet while towing. |
