I wonder if it's E-type-ish instead of genuine. A lot of detail is missing, but what there is seems clearly meant to be S1 - lights, 3 windscreen wipers, covered lights. Screen pillar in 2nd thumb is wrong and the doortop trim does not look right. I'm also unsure if the screen is the right shape and the door looks too short (certainly for late S3 body and probably for S1/S2). 73 plate date suggests something odd - so E-type replica? There were a few late 70s/early 80s body kits to convert UK Cortinas and similar, but not sure if they go back to early 70s. |
