Wouldn't CF-Series be better @baube? How do we know the weight class without a badge? Quite possibly this was the only weight sold in Canada? |

Did a little research. Says these came to NA in late 1985 for the 1986 MY. CF-7000 and CF-8000 from my research. I missed flynox's comment that the badge was shown on the door. This article says earlier ones were Brazilian built???? https://www.joc.com/ford-introduces-new-cargo-line_19870510.html Here is one with an early Brazilian VIN! https://truckpartsinventory.com/view-truck/127481 1986 workshop manual: Link to "www.faxonautoliterature.com" 1987 workshop manual: Link to "www.faxonautoliterature.com" 1988 workshop manual: Link to "www.faxonautoliterature.com" - First year for CF-8000. I doubt there are too many of these for NA market listed on our database. I will update the few we have based off this research. There wasn't a 1985 manual or even literature for these. Early ones were Brazilian built too. |
