I borrowed the wheels (chrome reverse smoothies) from my uncle's '58 Corvette because the Weld Wheel Super Lights that I normally run on the car were not period correct. You can hear the whine of the Pete Jackson gear Drive as the car pulls up. The stunt driver, John-Clay Scott, broke the drivers door window when he slammed the door too hard. I was on the set from 5 PM until 4 AM and was paid $125 for my time by Star Cars. I was not reimbursed for the broken window. This scene was filmed in the City of Monrovia.
