The rear doors seem significantly longer than front. Could be 300 SEL [W109]. The combination of 2996 cc engine and 1969 model year (if this car was registered as new) is impossible because 3-litre M189 engine was cancelled in late 1967. |

Are you sure? For me it has the old, 1965-68 wheels and hubcaps. I'm not sure, if not all W109 had the US-style double round front lamps. This one has the basic ones. And from this angle you cannot see clearly the length of the back doors to identify the SEL-wheelbase. |

With this new picture I'd say SEL indeed, and also there's a repeater, so 'Made for I'. |
