It does not have any off road capability. It sits low to the ground and it’s full-time active all-wheel drive system is not designed for off road use, other than maybe dirt roads. The Flex is just a people mover, seating up to seven occupants. It is available with a optional trailer tow package that includes a Class III trailer hitch, 4 & 7 pin trailer electrics connector, trailer sway control (TSC), tire mobility kit, and heavy-duty engine cooling. The Ford Flex can tow up to 4,500 lbs (2,041 kgs) of braked trailer with that package.
