BTW, isn't that a center brake lamp in the top part of the rear window?
If so, we can eliminate 1985.

Or it could have been retrofitted.

Well, we don't generally assume modification without specific evidence of it.
Believe I will change to '86 pending dissent.

Too many ideas - and that's the problem! Looks a bit like Tri-State Custom Coach, also has an AHA-vibe... The list goes on and it's easier to tell what it's clearly not. :/

What can help?

In that case a clear shot of the fender badge (I can't read it). :D LTC double cut with 2 x strong B-pillar with single mood lights, rear sunroof, full vinyl roof and formal rear window is pretty much the opposite of individuality - could be 15 coachbuilders that I know of - or even 20 more that I haven't heard of so far (there were loads of them around). Maybe @Genny has an idea?

Judging by a dark rectangular fender badge, it *could* be:

- American Custom Coachworks (don't think it is)
- AHA (might be, car looks a lot like AHA - but who needs that in L.A.??)
- Executive Coachbuilders (might be, I don't have much material about them)
- Moloney Coachbuilders (don't think it is)
- the coachbuilder we all don't know (that's what I think it is - I guess at least 100 were active at some point)

@AnimatroniXx
there are more shots at the end that aren’t posted. Shame we can’t figure it out.

@dhill_cb7 Not that much of a shame, really. Well-deserved! It's the coachbuilders' own fault if they preferred to offer confusable, replaceable Tweedledum and Tweedledee-conversions that make two peas in a pod look like misfits. Seriously, I could flick their ears all day long! This website is a hall of shame for all those whatnot limousines that are doomed to rot far into eternity without having a maker's name attached to them. I sincerely hope the stretchmen learned their lesson now and think more about making identifialble limousines in the future!
