sixcyl ◊ 2005-10-29 18:53	No indeed, it is not a 500 Jolly which was made on the Fiat 500 Giardiniera basis (1964/65) by Ghia. This one is a 600, but if not from Ghia, from who?...Multipla, up to me is just a name from Fiat for its familiar version of 600 , never heard of it as a coachbuilder name?!

And probably that's what it is. While most Fiat 600 Jolly by Ghia looked like this: http://www.ciltd.co.uk/Events/CItal00/F500joly.JPG I also found two links to Jollys of the kind we have here: http://www.theguildofautomotiverestorers.com/1962_Fiat_Jollyforsale.html http://www.carclassic.com/stock.asp?StockID=101406 The second link suggests that it is made by Ghia, also. Perhaps they changed their design.
sixcyl ◊ 2005-10-29 23:44	Thank's for this enquiry.... one of the website shows a 600 Jolly which looks like the model but with some differences: Ghia Jolly 600 : Von der Turiner Firma Ghia stammt dieser sogenannte Strandwagen. Korbsitze und ein abnehmbares Verdeck waren die Highlights des Fahrzeuges. Ein aehnliches Modell wurde auch vom Multipla aufgelegt. the one we are considering is more looking like that one: isn't it...unfortunately they don't say the origin of it (Ghia?...or some else) the jolly on classicar.com is always much closer to the one we are considering: So I agree with you,and it's probably a Ghia on 600 base
