 1979+, maybe 1981+, but not 1983 (no plastic on the A-pillar)

 :think: I was stumbling about this plastic frame, also the steel-wheels seems to be the wider ones - but the black stripe at the bottom of the side is missing.

 Could be. :think: Strange. It has a GTI-badge, the plastic wheel-arches and the bigger wheels, but not the side-stripes and I cannot see neither the small red stripe around the grille and on the bumper.
