This is 68 model. The only year when the chromed strip was straight from the front fender to the rear. The first attempt with flat engine cover was made in 1963, and the name was to be Jango, another brazilian President, but the 1964 revolution cancelled these plans. Then TIMB appeared in 66 with chromed strips like the regular FNM 2000 and in 68, it followed the new styling line (only the strip has been changed). In 69, FNM introduced FNM 2150, with no chromed strip, with flat engine cover and a different grille. |
