It´s the designation used by Volkswagen, Limousine is equivalent to Sedan. It was used on most markets (I think) before the designation 1200 for the 1962 models. No modelnumber used by VW before the arrival of Type 3 since they only had one car to offer. On the US-market they were sold as Volkswagen De Luxe Sedan, Sun-Roof Sedan or Convertible. -- Last edit: 2006-05-28 11:37:56 |
