Shame that the emission laws in the USA at the time meant the 560 SEL was very down on power compared to the Euro 560 SEL. In Europe the 560 SEL had 300 hp where in the USA it only had 240 hp. |

For the record, in one shot 560SEL badges can be spotted on the back of both Mercedes sedans in the king's motorcade. Though the stretch limo has no rear badge. |
