being in the middle of a sea of japanese cars, is a rare Audi 100 1969-71

Yes, an early Audi 100 (due the colour).

Have look on the front lamps, they are two round sealed beam-lamps in the frame for the European rectangular version! It's cover is a special "made for J" one. Something hyperrare today, as the similar frame for the 1972-K 70 from 11/71 (start RHD-production and export to Japan) up to Summer 1972 (after that there were regular double round lamps, also a different front).

 Hmm, I'm quite sure, that I can recognize two round reflectors and not only one. And the square lamps were indeed not allowed in Japan back then. This was the reason for the specific lamp-construction of the 1972-K 70, too.

See what I mean? /vehicle_57057-Audi-100-F104-1969.html

I have also the impression to see a bit farer than the VW 1302 another Audi, a '71 Audi 60/Super90 series

No problem with the K 70, but I cannot find an Audi-pic. Somewhere in my collection there is a Japanese 1973` VW/Audi-programme, but I cannot find it right now. And in 1973 they took the holders for double round lamps of the 1971+ GL-trim for Japan. These special lamps were neccessary i nthe first years of the C1-Audi, before the first facelift.
