Oh dear, what was I using at that time? 8-) The text above is faulty, I'm a afraid. The Dutch system as used from 1951 indicates that NB, PB, RB, SB, and so forth, is designated for trucks over 2.2m wide. Under 2.2 meters wide the second letter is not B, but one from the set F, J, N, S or V Now let's see if anyone can actually decipher the license plate... |

You'd better stick to imcdb than whatever it was for the last decade...  Welcome back.Your system is complicated, but also quite logical. The truck is listed as 1950, but the 'Side Code 1' started 1951. The first letter looks like 'N' (meaning 1951? The rest of the letters, at least until they changed the designation to L 311, don't fit) and the second letter like an 'F' (meaning a narrow truck, even if they list as 2.23+ wide) The numbers are even worse, but I see no 0, 1, 4, 6, 7, 8 or 9 (even if the first number could be a 1, they're all smudged). A 1951 NF-22-53 would be close? |
