Looks big enough to be a Phantom, with what looks like Weymann coachwork, but it'll need some research. |

It most definitely is a Phantom. And it has what must be one of the last Weymann fabric bodies ever made. One has to wonder why such a rare - potentially unique - Phantom is not better known in the scene? |

Like you, I think that this should be better known. The general feel of the car reminded me of the Blue Train Bentley, but I cannot find an example of Gurney Nutting using such a split windscreen on a closed car. Then I thought of Lancefield because the scuttle looks like an Invicta sort of shape, then Corsica for the same reason, but I can't see either of those two being used for a body on a R-R Phantom. I wonder if this is an American or German body? |

It could be German. Several German coachbuilders held licenses to the Weymann system. then again, it would be unusual for a German clad Roller to sport Lucas headlamps. |

It's 47GY, built by Harrison for the Car Mart (not HJM!) |
