Alexander ◊ 2006-05-22 20:19	It is most likely the Wolseley 6/80 (1948-53). The grille of the 6/80 (1948-54) is wider and has 19 vertical bars while the 4/50 (1948-53) has 17. Unluckily it is not possible to count the bars. But the Police perferred the six cylinder car, therefore 6/80 is most likely.

It's likely to turn up in a later episode, so I will look out for a better picture of the front.

SIXEIGHTY ◊ 2011-07-17 13:35	This 4/50 is an extremely rare car, having been the 35th built out of the 99 4/50s produced at the Ward End works in Birmingham before the move to Cowley in early 1949.
dsl ◊ 2018-08-27 02:45	Has sidelights usually found after Sept 1950. UCE 836 now in a white 1996 Volvo truck with 9600cc diesel and revenue weight of 17000kg.
