First, look at the front end, especially at the bumper area, judging by that we know that it's an '88-89 hatchback. Black only came on Si models, which weren't introduced until the 1989 model year. Another hint is the presence of the front bumper lip, an Si only exclusive. Although CRX is a related model, it is not the same.
