Why the examples I find for 1962 Fury Convertible get three rear lights per side ( example 1 and example 2) and this only gets two? :??:

I cannot find anything to support a Belvedere Convertible was offered for 1962. According to the website... http://www.1962to1965mopar.ornocar.com/gallery.html It doesnt list a Belvedere convertble until 1965.
Neither does the NADA gudie for classic cars.
Furys did had triple tailights and Savoys/Belvederes had dual tailights.
I have to assume this is some kind of early Fury model.

You are correct HWJOE, tripple tailights were a mid-season addition to the Fury line (as well as other trim changes to the Fury and Sport Fury).

As I recalled reading an article in Collectible Automobile, they were talking about three minor changes throughout this model year...

Not all Sport Furys had 3 rear lights. The third light was an option.
