I think the SMC badge was used by Saehan Motors, which later became Daewoo Motor: http://www.daewoobus.com/global/php/sub_history01.php |

That seems to be quite right. |

I've found a better link proving it. No photo of this particular model though. http://aeroexpress.wo.to/noname4.htm |

Thanks for that link. The closest one of the lot seems to be the BD101. |

The front is like the BD101, but the layout and body sides are much closer to the Daewoo BV101. It occurs to me that the buses in the film might be post-1980 models customised to look older. Then again, this might be an earlier incarnation of the BV101. ![]() -- Last edit: 2010-09-26 17:39:15 |

I found identical configuration with the exception of removing the front side door and redid the fascia from old Saehan (SMC) vehicle shown at http://www.daewoobus.co.kr/newsite/KR/company/history_1980.php#![]() Here is the Daewoo body: http://www.daewoobus.com/pop54.php |

I found a Korean blog (Use Google translate and scroll down) indicates they were converted from Daewoo BS106 ![]() http://blog.daum.net/koko6495930/5877159 |

The blog says some of the buses were converted from Daewoo BF 105s, which look more like this bus than BS 106s do. Unfortunately the blog's photos are missing so we can't see which film buses were converted from which models. |

I was able to find this through Google Image search using Link to "www.google.com" with some results. |
