Only one HK 500 convertible was ever made, in 1960. Pity this one is not real, but someone knew what they were drawing as the windscreen is correct. |

The exact car is pictured at http://www.facel-vega.com/fvpix/hifrog508.gif . Daninos describes it as an FV2 http://www.facel-vega.com/hifrog5.htm but Michael Sedgewick's 1973 book on Facel Vega (Cars in Profile series, #7) describes it as the solitary HK500 cabriolet, built in 1960 http://www.facel-vega.com/mageng1.shtml . Whatever its exact title it seems the only Facel Vega convertible with the stacked double headlights, unlike the 10 FV convertibles built in 1955-56 - http://www.facel-vega.asso.fr/productions.html -- Last edit: 2015-05-17 00:53:37 |
