Seems a Mondial 8 |

Looks replicaish. Based on firero? |

It's not, it has to be a Dino (308) GT4. Front bumper is strange but if made for USA might be normal too. |

It certainly looks like a 308 GT4, but with some odd details. The bumper is unusual, as is the vent in front of the rear wheel, and I don't think they were available with a removable top. It might be a modified original, because the 308 GT4 is not a popular Ferrari/Dino and seems an unlikely car to be replicated. |

There is a 308GT4 in my town that I often see at car shows and it doesn't look like this...front bumper is very different, so it's not just a U.S. model difference. My guess it's a Fiero-based or some sort of replica. It looks to have a T-top, no 308GT4s had those. Also notice the side marker lights high on the front of the front fender, very inelegant...no Ferrari would ever have those. -- Last edit: 2010-09-06 20:21:58 |

Fiero Mera. Factory sold Fiero rebody. |

Thats definitely a Ferrari Dino 308 GT4, and nothing offered from the Pontiac factory. The Pontiac Fiero Mera never had a Ferrari logo on the gear shifter like this one does, or any Ferrari logos at all. The Pontiac Fiero Mera also had a completely different body, nothing fits http://www.chooseyouritem.com/autos/photos/667000/667189.1988.Pontiac.Fiero.jpg in fact, It has to be a real Ferrari Dino 308 GT4, because it has a Ferrari logo on the gear shifter, and Ferrari would probably not allow Pontiac or any kit-car company to put that on there. It is rather strange that it has a T-top, but I suppose that was just added on by the owner, its not uncommon to do so |

There is no such thing as a Ferrari Dino 308 GT4, the make was either Dino or Ferrari, depending on the year |

Too many details don't fit for it to be a real Dino. I agree it's probably not a Mera body conversion, but it probably was a Fiero to start with. Though I'd wonder why someone would build a replica of a 308 GT4. Oh, and it's very common for Ferrari replicas to carry Ferrari badges. Legally wrong, probably, but like speeding people still do it. -- Last edit: 2012-04-18 02:38:33 |

OK, so what about listing as Ferrari 308 GT4 Replica? |
◊ 2021-07-25 14:35 |
This is not a Pontiac Fiero, this is a modified Dino 308 GT4 or 208 GT4 (later Ferrari 308 GT4 or 208 GT4), and there's no doubt about this, it has modified roof, because 308 GT4 was never had a T-Top from the factory and rear of the car is widened, that's it. This entry should be corrected. -- Last edit: 2021-07-25 14:37:36 |

Didn't you read the comments? It's not a real Ferrari. |
