No they were built together. 1999 [GMT480]: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/51288959.html - no vin 1999 [GMT880]: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/81288430.html -VIN The [GMT480] for 1999-2000 only came in Crew Cab/Extended Cab/Regular Cab Chassis. No standard Regular Cab for 1999 or 2000. You had to get a [GMT800/880] for a 1500/2500 regular cab.
