The Honda Concerto / Rover R8 (200/400 series) was a joint development programme between the two companies for the European models using a majority of common parts. The Honda was built at Swindon in the UK for export to the rest of Europe. Not necessarily made in the UK - Wikipedia says it was made in Japan as well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Concerto Not made for Japan either. This scene is supposed to be in mainland China, but I think it might have been filmed in Taiwan, because the Chinese number plate is a replica and doesn't fit properly. (Taiwan has US size plares.) |

I am very sure this is Hong Kong. Its very unlikely that they filmed it in China. They are driving on the right side for filming to make it look like its in China. Fake chinese number plate aswell. -- Last edit: 2017-07-09 10:31:02 |

If the Pontiac Grand Am /vehicle_32388-Pontiac-Grand-Am-1990.html is part of the same scene, I don't think it is Hong Kong. There are taffic signs on the right hand side of the road (and they are not Hong Kong style) and the Pontiac does not have any number plate. If it's not mainland China, my guess is Taiwan. |
