Looks like an older model. Could this be Kaiser Jeep? ![]() |

The thing is, it's not a Jeep Wagoneer. It's actually a Studebaker Wagonaire. |

Good Eye, and you are right. The same rear styling was used from 1963 to 1966 on the wagon models. What exact year? Well, the '66's had low-mounted side trim that I don't see here. The 1965's all had some side trim at door handle level and I see none. Believe this is either a '63 Standard wagon or a '64 Challenger model. -- Last edit: 2010-07-31 15:51:01 |

Commander, could you please take a look at the Studebaker Wagonaire at /vehicle_190253-Ford-Ranchero-1972.html and see if you can narrow it down any better? ![]() |

Thanks for the link. I cannot further narrow that one down as none of the front or side is visible. I have few direct rear S/W photos of these models. Not sure re minor details such as nameplate locations. |

Have now completed extensive research on the rear angle views of '63 to '66 Wagonaires and can conclude this is not a '63 Standard which did not have a nameplate on the left side of the tailgate as this one appears to have. Owing to stark side panels with no indication of trim, I will list this as a 1964 Challenger Wagonaire. I have a long post I would like to type about the other Wagonaire in Cougar's link to the Twilight Zone movie but need for someone to set up a separate page for it. |
