Thatīs not a Ford Mondeo. Itīs the Ford Focus Limousine Mk II.

@M.Pfaffeneder: Correct!
@Gomselmash: Hard to say. On the other hand, I think the US-version was styled a bit differently. Besides, the sedan-version was also made and offered in Europe and therefore available in Russia( where this movie was apparently shot) as well. AFAIK there's even a Ford-assembly plant near St. Petersburg which opened in 2002 and produces the Focus.

@ cl82: okay, but remember that both Poles and Russians often receive second-hand imports from the USA.
Moreover, here was manufactured Focus (until 2008) and in 2008 the Focus II (the two European versions) and is very different from that of the image.

@Gomselmash11: Yes, I know that. It's said to be cheaper. As I said, I thought it looks rather like a Euro-spec Focus, but I can be wrong of course. Besides, the Focus sedan is very rare in Germany, you normally see only hatches and wagons there.

Sorry, I thought the picture was in Russia, where it is much more likely (or Poland but).
From the side, it looks very "American", but my attention over the headlight housing.
I would feel, that may be similar to this: Link to "images.autobytel.com"

In my opinion it seems simply an european Focus Sedan Mk II. But in any case it could be similar as the american Focus sedan 2nd generation (2005+). But for sure not the 3rd one (2008+).

I think you're right.

The car with lightened shadows looks that:
