Bentley S3, 1962-6. Seems to be a 4-door cabriolet, but I don't know by which coachbuilder. |

According to Hunterman on the page for the 450SL, the Bentley was a 1956: /vehicle_79640-Mercedes-Benz-450-SL-R107-1974.html |

It doesn't appear to have a folding top, so it's a fair weather only car for sure! |

I found the two door version: http://www.bdcnsw.com.au/Member-BillH-S3Drophead-1963.JPG It's a Bentley S3 Drophead Coupé by Roger Fry |

It is a Bentley S3 Standard Saloon of which the top has been cut off. |

The S3 was introduced in 1962, but wasn't it already model year 1963? |

I was able to find online onetime, a list of the Hart's cars used in the series. It was fairly complete and specific. I don't know much about Bently's but it listed the Hart's silver one as a 1956 model. I used to have the list posted under the pic of the Hart's Mercedes SL, but have now moved it under the show in general, when you first bring up all the car pics for "Hart To Hart." -- Last edit: 2009-10-24 04:10:28 |

The car is anS3 standard steel saloon which has had the top sliced off, and robgeelen2 is absolutely correct on this. I have seen the car, many years ago, in LA, and believe me, it was a poor job of surgery ... |
