 Seems to me Benjamin Holt was the name of the guy who made "caterpillar" tractors, cat name stuck, the model is a "5 ton" and can be read in front of the seat.

 As it says on this machine it is a Holt 5 ton and was only produced in this form in 1924. Holt and Best machines all became Caterpillars from 1925. Also in this photo are a 2 ton on the left and a 10 ton on the right. I suppose it is a debateable whether it is a farming vehicle or a construction vehicle.
