Had a friend in high school who drove one of these. He misses it because after he sold it he never saw another one.Rare car these days. |

emblem on the right side of the hatch looks to be taller than the emblem on the left side. Badge on the left side would say 'Pontiac' and the 'J2000' (1982) and '2000'(1983) badges are the same height as the Pontiac emblem. The 'Sunbird' emblem of 1984-1987 cars was taller than the Pontiac emblem. So I believe that this is a Sunbird, and it is a Safari |
