Side trim appears to differ from police '56 Merc Custom, but really doesn't. On Highway Patrol cruisers, chrome strip at door was removed chrome at rear fender blackened (see overall remarks). Plates are new black-on-yellow CA that would stay in use until 1963. Previous oversized yellow-on-black CA plates were used in Highway Patrol episodes until early 1956. -- Last edit: 2014-03-10 05:40:44 |
