I used to be amused when I saw this car and it's lovely driver. I'm sure it is a complete anachronism. The model is more like a 1970's version with the later door handles if I remember correctly. Quite out of keepimg with the other vehicles in the show. |

Quite correct, Nostalgiaguy. The new door handles are visible in /vehicle_35330-Austin-Gipsy-1958.html , so 1972+. Since 1969 the French wagons were called Break 20, Commerciale 21, etc., so I guess the same would apply on british versions: Safari 20 (or 21 or 23). |
