In one of Solzhenitsyn’s books (The First Circle) it’s related that many of the trucks running around Moscow marked ‘Milk’, ‘Meat’ and ‘Bread’ (in four languages) were actually used by the KGB for the transport of prisoners. |

This car painted for movie. KGB (or NKVD) use them because its unnoticeable vehicles. All special services use this trick (for example /vehicle_23766-Dodge-Ram-Van.html /vehicle_5205-Renault-Estafette-1000-R2137-1970.html /vehicle_8091-Saviem-SG-2-Super-Goelette-1965.html ). Anyway Milk and Bread is better than "for transportation calfs and piglets" - it would be too cruel. By the way, this movie filmed in the year when Stalin die (at last). |

You're both correct. And not only the KGB did so.
