This is the first version with a short barrel gun. The later A1 and A2 versions arrived in 1980 both and are identifiable by their longer gun with a muzzle brake. The design for the M110 and the M107 (same base vehicle, different gun) came from the Pacific Car and Foundry Company and first vehicles were delivered in 1962. At a later date production was also undertaken by FMC (Food Machinery Corporation) and Bowen-McLaughlin-York (BMY). |
