1981+ for W126 in USA and no such thing as 280SEL in US. Note: I understand quite a few grey import S-Classes were brought into the US, which could in theory be 1980 models. By the way, why did they have to burn such a nice car? This car would have been no more than about 6 years old at the time this movie was made. Surely they could have burned an older 1970s model, for example? Especially in such a low budget movie. It may have been a car with a major mechanical issue or a grey import that couldn't be legally registered in the US. |
