The two tanks in Episode 5 are reals or replicas. They are not generated by computer. Also it's real this /vehicle_305493.html and the black and white pictureas are from real World War II scenes seen in every first minutes of each episode. BTW 2491tj which is the maker for the LVT, LCV, etc...? -- Last edit: 2010-05-28 21:19:34 |

hard to say without viewing the vehicles data plate..outwardly they are identical, but makers of the LVT were FMC, Graham-Paige,Ingersoll,St Louis Car Co. |

It's nice to see actual WW2 Japanese armour, and, painted in period correct colors. Too bad that none of these were seen in Flags of Our Fathers. From the pic, the Ha-Go doesn't look particularly comfortable does it? |

This vehicle is misidentified. It was actually called Type 95, not Type 3. |

Indeed a replica made in 2009 by Melbourne City Engineering with a Ford V8 engine. Apparently they made 3 of those, and aside from the one 2491tj brought up, another one ended up in Japan where 2015-me snapped a couple of shots for it at a car show. When I found this tank it was given a Chihatan paintjob to celebrate the release of Girls und Panzer der Film ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2021-08-02 05:52:58 |
