nzcarnerd ◊ 2010-05-28 21:49	This car was owned by Roger Collings for many years but I believe it is now in the US. In this picture the rear seat passenger wearing a leather helmet in the right side of the car is Bill Boddy who for many years was editor of MotorSport magazine. The Mercedes 60 was the fastest car available in 1903 and they were bought by wealthy playboys on the French Riviera who were killing themselves in them as fast as the factory could supply them. They were too powerful for the tyres of the time.
