rjluna2 ◊ 2010-05-25 19:24	The "SS" is what they used in the script badge on earlier cars. As this example shown simply have "Super Sport" script on the front fender. The "Super Sport" is a formal definition by Chevrolet on the paper. It was an option package from 1961 to 1963. It became part of the model series as listed from 1964 to 1967. It once again became an option package from 1968 until 1969. The Impala SS did not appear until 1994 automoble show as prototype as a name by Chevrolet.
