It's a 1973 or 74 Country Squire. Since the series ended in 73, you can assume that. Earlier than 73, the front end narrows in profile. |

This is a 1970 Mercury Colony Park. It has vent windows, which disappeared on the 1971 model. In addition, the front end of the luggage rack indicates this is a 1970 and not a 1969 Colony Park, since in 1969 only the front end of the luggage rack did not taper downward as it did on later models (same goes for the 1969 Ford Country Squire). Finally, the radio antenna was positioned on the left fender on full-size Fords and Mercurys in 1969 only, and this car does not have an antenna on the left side. |
