Only sure difference is in front indicators - 965 has them above the head lights ( http://denisovets.narod.ru/zaz/zazprototips/ZAZ965_1.jpg ), 965 A - under ( http://denisovets.narod.ru/zaz/zazprototips/ZAZ965A_4.jpg ). Perhaps 965 has plate under central rear air inlet ( http://denisovets.narod.ru/zaz/zazprototips/ZAZ965_3.jpg ), and 965 A - on air inlet ( http://denisovets.narod.ru/zaz/zazprototips/ZAZ965A_2.jpg ), but some models don't fit to this scheme (par example strange air inlet in /vehicle_273554-ZAZ-965-1960.html )
