Very nice indeed. Yes, it seems to be based on teh 203 sedan, also by the wheel base. Probably a 1949 model, because there won't have been a market for expensive coachbuilt woodies when Peugeot could deliver its own Familale version. Mignot & Billebault was the most famous woody builder in France. Btw, nice picture of Auxerre (Yonne) with the Benedict abbey of Saint-Germain. I agree with Mignot&Billebault work. It fits well with this coach-builder of the late 40'S who made most of its conversions on high/medium series vehicles as Ford or Hotchkiss..and probably Peugeot too. |

Break 203 are looking like a hearse for me, this woody version looks much more desirable. A good indication for car hunter, a Mignot & Billebault was in Auxerre area in the mid 50's ![]() |
