 No, front is never visible.
As it was made in Malta, it may be an Italian car.

 I would have said it is a Japanese care, something like Nissan/Datsun or Toyota.

 That's 230-series Datsun Cedric (AKA 220C 240C etc.) 1971 - 75.

Writing in Maltese on doors was almost exact(they say"PULIZIJA"for "Police"--meanwhile the movie men had written"POLIZIJIA")

BTW,knew that difference,'cause on a magazine -encyclopaedia on the World's Police Vehicles was shown a Maltese Police-liveried Alfa Romeo 155 with "PULIZIJA"written on doors

However,almost improbable the use in reality of Datsuns as patrol cars in the Island of Malta(given was an ex-Commonwealth Country,I knew will use mostly Fords,like Cortinas,and Land-Rovers in past)

PS Right,BeanBandit,was a 1971-1975[230]Cedric,but being European-export version,we should talk of 220-240-260C(=2.2,2.4.and 2.6 lt.;C=Cedric)

Antp,had got your e-mail on the code topic,but don't succeed to send any message on chassis codes of vehicles,'cause don't let me allowed to send post in the forum;each time I try to do it,a small banner appears saying"don't had permission to send messages in that field"...how I can cross that obstacle to meet your quest???

 I did a reset of your password so now you have the same on the forum as on the site. Try to login there again and you should be able to post in the forum (e.g. on the "naming convention" section).
If it still does not work, then you can maybe post the info on ONE of the car, e.g. for the B210 Coupé, you can say "[KB210], and same for all other B210 Coupé of the site", instead of posting it for each car ;) (but it is a less easy solution for us than providing a list on the forum I think).

 Probably an ex taxi- as These big Datsuns were once popular on Malta in that role.
