These were sold from 1985-1994. The 85-89 models were called DL/GL, from 1990-94 they were called Loyales (the Legacy started that year). The DLs had quad headlamps, GLs had the dual, flush ones. The logo on the rear doors said "Subaru" on DL/GLs, and "Loyale" on the Loyales. I can't make this one out. I was looking online at these today, and came to the following conclusions: 1985-86 had the funky honeycomb grills, 1987-89 and Loyales had grills like this one, but with a black middle, I didn't see any with a full body-colored grill; the DL/GLs had body-colored bumpers, all the Loyales I looked at today had all-black bumpers.
