an_unusual_eye ◊ 2010-04-17 06:28	i could never have given you the lincoln from memory... probably will NOT be able to in the morning. i really only remember the maxima because it coincided with the redesign from RWD to FWD. some of the japanese cars staggered in the composites on higher models first... subaru for example brought the composites in on the GL and GL-10 models before the DL models in the same body style. that (maybe in conjunction with releasing the FWD cars) may have prompted nissan to get ahead of the crowd on the maxima. i would have to check on something other than the phone, but i think the cressida started wearing composites in 1985 as well. - the two mirrored flagships screwing up the timeline.
