A pickup from the 1955-59 Task-Force trucks line for sure, with a 1956-57 hood emblem. Some "extra-light" shows what seems to be a 1957 grille. If a ½-ton 3100 pickup (short wheelbase: 114"/2.90 m), it would give it the 3104 Chevrolet internal code. But the gap between the cab and the rear wheel arch seems to be the one due to the 123¼"/3.13 m wheelbase, i.e. the one of both the ½-ton 3200 model (3204 code) and the ¾-ton 3600 one (3604). If a 3100 pickup (again ), then the ½-ton complement is redundant, as all 3100 models have this payload. The Stepside complement is irrelevant, as this name of bed option appeared only in 1958. If sure of a 3100 model: ⇒ 1957 Chevrolet Task-Force 3100 [3104] (without ½-ton) Else: ⇒ 1957 Chevrolet Task-Force? (in both case without Stepside) |
