I should've taken a picture of the cowl, where it actually says "CHEVROLET" embossed on it. Oh, well. I still have a copy of the movie from Netflix.

1 1/2 ton model, wouldn't you say?

Ddey65, you are correct on the Chevy. This view shows the limited side vents of the Chevy compared to the full panel of vents of the GMC.

I saw the word Chevrolet sticking out right on the driver's side cowl.

Since it didn't come in so well when I paused it to be captured, this crudley drawn orange loop is where I saw the Chevy on the cowl.
