The horizontal panel form in the door below the handle looks like a 1972 Consul to me? |

hmm, It could be either, but it's rare to see a Granada without a trim strip along the swage line. My money is on a mk4 Cortina. |

The Cortina Mk.IV had different door handles /vehicle_61829-Ford-Cortina-1977.html The Cortina Mk.III had the right door handles but no swage line below the door handle /vehicle_194296-Ford-Cortina-1974.html This can only be a 1972 Consul I believe /vehicle_183448-Ford-Consul-1973.html with both the swage line and the right door handles. -- Last edit: 2010-03-30 12:50:35 |

Yes, Mk1 Consul/Granada. It might well be a Consul, but it could be a slightly later (post facelift) base model Mk1 Granada. www.ford-granadaguild.org.uk/gallery/view_photo.php?set_albumName=mk1_album&id=adn www.ford-granadaguild.org.uk/gallery/view_photo.php?set_albumName=mk1_album&id=acz |
