Not Switzerland, for instance?
(Yes, I see that Switzerland is not given on the "filming location" page in IMDb but the story, does it say it? This "CFF" mention on the carriage is not French, as far as I know. And the signs (the white on blue "15" for the platform) doesn't look French either.)

 They are, but Swiss trains/cars didn't reach Paris? Anyway if you say that the platform signs don't fit, then I'll have to check this movie/scene again. Possible that main character on its way to France did change train in Switzerland.

 Yes - it is Switzerland, where main character had short stop. The longer scene at the Parisian Gare de L'Est is in different part of movie (close to its end).
