IRS was a factory option. Many USA buyers opted for a live axle as the TR4A chassis could be fitted with either. If IRS was fitted (as it was on all UK models) then the IRS badge was fitted on the bootlid. It was probably the IRS that put this rather nice looking car into the ditch. |
