EL (Max) goes in the name field. It denotes the 131" long wheelbase model. Roof rails have been removed (!) and I doubt a police department would use high-end Limited editions for tactical purposes due to cost. I guess the livery can be identified by ford_guy? |

It definitely looks fictional to me. My best guess is that it's supposed to be some sort of Forest Service/Game Warden vehicle. Can't be a Sheriff's vehicle as the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (which is depicted in the show) is the chief law enforcement agency in Clark County (where Las Vegas is). |

In this episode, the guy in the Ford F-Series pickup was illegally dumping on public land (dumping body parts, which is where CSI got involved). He was caught in the act and wrecked after a brief chase; I don't recall specifically, but the Expedition might have been the pursuing vehicle. |
