Astore is mysterious bike. Early Astore was improvement model of prewar GTV500, and frame seems changed in rater model. I'm confusing about the production year too. We can found valious years(1947,48,49,50) in books & web pages  So I visit the Moto-Guzzi web page And I found that Moto-Guzzi says It's 1949-53!http://www.motoguzzi.it/modsto/scheda.asp?model=astore&anno=40 Thanks to jplemoine that led us to more correct information  |

A Similar sidecar-bike(the same?Maybe owned by director of movie)appears also in a 1987 movie played by same Italian director,Tinto Brass,titled"Snack Bar Budapest"(despite the title wasn't played in Hungary,but in an utopistic and unidentified future city,resembling an alternative Fifties'Italy--when the bike was framed by back,shown a fake Italian plate with TB(=Tinto Brass)initials,meanwhile of that related at registration vehicle's Province,e.g.TO=Turin,MI=Milan,etc. |
